1. What We Collect

We collect the following data when you use Hindenrank:

• Wallet addresses you submit for portfolio risk analysis.
• Portfolio snapshots including token balances, protocol positions, and computed risk scores at the time of each scan.
• IP addresses for rate limiting and abuse prevention. These are not linked to wallet data.
• Account information (email address) if you create a free or Pro account.
• Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. Why We Collect It

• To provide portfolio risk analysis and display your results.
• To periodically re-scan submitted addresses and track portfolio risk changes over time.
• To improve our risk ratings and methodology using aggregate data patterns.
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the Service.

3. How Long We Keep It

Wallet addresses and portfolio snapshots are stored indefinitely to provide historical risk tracking and aggregate analytics, unless you request deletion. IP-based rate limiting data is retained for 24 hours. Account information is retained until you delete your account or request deletion.

4. Third Parties

We do not sell individual wallet data or portfolio information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and data storage.
• Stripe for payment processing (Pro subscriptions).
• Third-party APIs (DeFiLlama, CoinGecko) to fetch on-chain data. Wallet addresses may be sent to these services to retrieve token balances.

Aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., "40% of scanned portfolios hold Lending protocols") may be used in published analytics and commercial products. No individual wallets are identifiable in aggregate reporting.

5. Cookies

Hindenrank uses minimal cookies:

• Session cookie for authenticated users (login state).
• Rate limiting cookies to track anonymous usage limits.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and access controls. However, no system is perfectly secure. Blockchain data submitted for analysis is publicly available on-chain by nature.

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of all stored data associated with your wallet address(es) or account by emailing support@hindenrank.com. We will process requests within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be traced back to you may be retained.

8. Children

Hindenrank is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
